The RIGID boiler furnace maintenance lifting platform (GJPT-P series) is a suspended man-riding equipment specially designed for the maintenance of water-cooled walls in large boilers. By means of a suspension mechanism erected on top of the boiler, the platform is driven by hoists and wire ropes to move up and down along the vertical surface of the boiler's water-cooled wall. The product is widely used for the inspection and maintenance of refractory materials, membrane walls, and spray gun interfaces in circulating fluidized bed boilers, pulverized coal boilers, and waste incinerators.

1、Outstanding Safety Guarantee System

In the confined and complex internal environment of a boiler, operational safety is the primary consideration. The RIGID boiler maintenance platform is equipped with multiple independent safety protection systems to ensure the absolute safety of personnel and equipment.

First, the platform adopts a dual fall-protection system independently configured for personnel and equipment. The hoist in the control (active) safety system is equipped with a power-off braking device, while the safety lock in the fall-arrest (triggered) safety system has a fall-prevention function. In addition, the personal fall-arrest safety system uses a lifeline independent of the equipment, achieving separation of man and machine to maximize the life safety of operators.

Second, the equipment is equipped with an upper limit protection device. When the platform reaches the set height, it will automatically stop ascending, effectively preventing top-crashing accidents. In emergency situations such as sudden power outages, the platform features a powerless descent function, allowing operators to manipulate the descent lever to land the platform safely at a uniform speed.

3、Flexible and Convenient Modular Design

To adapt to the narrow entry spaces inside boilers, the RIGID platform utilizes lightweight aluminum alloy profiles and features an ingenious modular design. All components can be disassembled into flat pieces, allowing them to easily pass through manholes with a diameter of 450 mm or more into the furnace.

Once inside the furnace, the components can be assembled into straight sections or required platform combinations using a patented quick-connection system. This design not only facilitates transportation and installation but also eliminates the tedious bolt-tightening process, avoiding the risk of losing parts inside the furnace. The platform offers two control modes: panel operation and handle operation, which can be flexibly switched according to on-site working conditions.

It is mainly divided into the double-suspension-point series (GJPT-P-XXX/2Z) and the multi-suspension-point series (GJPT-P-1000/4, GJPT-P-1000/6).


2.1Double-Suspension-Point Series (GJPT-P-XXX/2Z)

This series is suitable for the maintenance of conventional-sized boilers. The platform length can be flexibly combined between 2 meters and 12 meters according to requirements. The standard width of the platform is 0.7 meters, and the guardrail height is 1.2 meters.

Hoist Specifications: The DC hoist (LTD100-10P9Z series) has a rated load of 1000 kg and a lifting speed of up to 8~12 m/min. The AC hoist (LTD100-10P9) also has a rated load of 1000 kg and a lifting speed of 9 m/min. Both are compatible with 10.2 mm diameter wire ropes.


2.4 Key Safety Components

LSF Series Anti-tilt Safety Lock:

When the working platform tilts by 3-10 degrees, or the working wire rope breaks, the safety lock will automatically lock the safety wire rope. Model LSF310 has a rated load of 1000 kg.

OSL Series Centrifugal Safety Lock:

When the platform's descent speed exceeds 30 m/min, the centrifugal safety lock will automatically trigger the rope-locking mechanism. Model OSL510 has a rated load of 1000 kg.

Ash Hopper Platform (HKPT-X Series)

The RIGID Ash Hopper Platform (HKPT-X Series) is specifically designed for maintenance operations at the ash discharge opening at the bottom of the boiler furnace. It can be deployed in conjunction with the boiler maintenance platform or used as a standalone solution. Constructed entirely from aluminum alloy, the platform offers anti-slip, anti-corrosion, and fire-resistant properties. Each panel measures 2000 mm × 450 mm with a maximum load rating of 200 kg per panel. All components are designed to pass through a 450 mm diameter manhole for in-furnace assembly. Compared to conventional erection methods, the Ash Hopper Platform significantly reduces labor costs and physical demands during furnace maintenance, and can be fully customized to suit on-site dimensions.
