The RIGID MiniHoist MH series delivers high-performance lifting in a compact, lightweight form — ideal for confined spaces and long vertical travel. The pass-through wire rope design enables unlimited lifting height, making it the preferred choice for wind power, construction, elevator installation, and industrial maintenance.
The RIGID MiniHoist MH series is a portable electric wire rope hoist driven by friction between the steel wire rope and the drive wheel. The wire rope passes completely through the hoist rather than being stored inside, enabling unlimited lifting height and pulling length — a key advantage over conventional drum-type hoists.
The drive system consists of a traction sheave and precision pressure rollers. These rollers clamp the rope securely onto the sheave, with clamping force proportional to the applied load. A pre-tensioned spring maintains rope grip even under no-load conditions, ensuring safe and reliable operation at all times.
Conforming to standards EN 14492-1 and EN 14492-2, the MH series is factory-tested at 110% of maximum rated load before delivery, guaranteeing performance and safety from the first use.
