The RIGID LTD-P Series hoist is a wire rope pass-through traction hoist specifically developed for working-at-height systems, suitable for both man-riding and material lifting applications. The equipment achieves stable climbing and descending through the main wire rope, which is not stored within the machine, allowing for unlimited working heights and longer traction distances. With its compact and lightweight design, reliable transmission system, and multiple safety protection configurations, this series is widely used in suspended platforms, wind turbine service lifts, elevator installation platforms, and bridge/tower maintenance scenarios, providing safer, more stable, and highly efficient vertical lifting guarantees.
Product Advantages
Unlimited Height Adaptability: Adopts a mature wire rope pass-through traction structure (α-type reeving system). The wire rope passes directly through the machine body during operation, theoretically free from drum storage limitations, perfectly adapting to super high-rise buildings and deep shafts.
High Safety Design: Designed according to man-riding conditions, integrating mechanical overload protection, motor thermal overload protection, and a manual emergency descent mechanism during power failure. It can be seamlessly paired with RIGID Overspeed Safety Lock (OSL) and Anti-tilt Safety Lock (LSF) to build a complete secondary safety protection system.
Lightweight & Durable: Features a die-cast aluminum body and hardened steel transmission components, effectively reducing the overall weight (45-62kg) while ensuring structural rigidity and durability.
Wide Environmental Adaptability: Compared to similar competitors, the LTD-P series has a wider working temperature range (-20°C to 55°C) and achieves IP54/IP55 protection class, easily coping with harsh construction and industrial maintenance environments.
Easy Maintenance: Standardized component design with a built-in mechanical hour counter to accurately record operating hours, helping to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce lifecycle operating costs.

Compact Structure for Efficient Installation and Handling: Without the need for a large drum winding mechanism, the LTD-P series has a more compact overall structure (uniform size: 593×300×263mm) and a smaller footprint, making it easy to transport, install, and arrange on-site. The die-cast aluminum body effectively reduces weight while maintaining structural rigidity, making it particularly suitable for project-based conditions requiring frequent transfers and repeated installations.
Stable Operation and Easy Maintenance: The LTD-P series adopts a single drive pulley and pressure guide rope structure (α-type reeving system), obtaining stable wire rope grip through rollers and spring pressure systems. Gears and drive wheels are made of hardened steel with special lubrication design, allowing stable operation from -20°C to 55°C.
Safety Design for Man-Riding Applications: Safety is the core competitiveness of working-at-height equipment. The LTD-P series fully considers the actual needs of man-riding applications:

The built-in mechanical hour counter: It accurately records operating hours, providing a scientific basis for regular maintenance.

Built-in Mechanism Overload: When the actual load reaches or exceeds the rated load, the equipment will automatically stop rising while retaining the descent function for safe and controlled operation.

Emergency Descent: In the event of a power failure, the electro-mechanical brake can be manually released, ensuring a safe, smooth, and uniform descent of the load under the control of the centrifugal speed limiter.

Secondary Safety Protection: Can be used with RIGID Overspeed Safety Lock (OSL, automatically locks the rope when descent speed exceeds 30m/min) and Anti-tilt Safety Lock (LSF, automatically triggers when tilt angle exceeds 5°) to form a more complete safety system.
Multi-Scenario Compatibility for System Integration: The LTD-P series features excellent scenario adaptability, supporting upright, inverted, and side mounting directions, and providing flexible fixing methods such as bolt fixing, adapter fixing, and combined fixing.
