Safety Systems

To ensure safe operation without danger to personnel, the platform is fitted with the following safety devices:

1. Service brake incorporated in the LTD hoist.

Operator can control move or stop the construction gondola.

2. Two fall arrest devices acting on the safety wire ropes.

Fall arresters will activate and stop the cradle by locking safety wire ropes.

3. Two upper limit switches.

When the cradle is moving up to the top, the limit switches will work and stop the platform.

4. No power descent in case of power failure.

In case of emergency, the electric gondola machine (hoist) could be manually released and the cradle safely lowered to the landing ground below.

5. Emergency stop.

In case of emergency, the Emergency Stop will stop the platform from moving immediately.

6. Phase controller. (Optional)

The phase controller is in the control panel, protect the components from phase sequence error.

7. Overload sensor incorporated in the LTD hoists according to EN 1808. (Optional)

In electric gondola machine, the overload function will prevent overload working.
