In the industry, suspended platforms are classified by rated load — the model number IS the rated load: ZLP250 (250 kg), ZLP500 (500 kg), ZLP630 (630 kg), ZLP800 (800 kg), ZLP1000 (1,000 kg).
Window cleaning and light repair: ZLP500/630 is enough
Curtain wall installation and heavy work: start from ZLP800
High-volume material handling: ZLP1000
Calculate the load first, then choose the model — don’t look at price first. Too small a load and you can’t carry your material; too large and the platform is heavy and overpriced.
A suspended platform is man-riding equipment; safety configuration is not where you save money. A qualified platform must include:
1. Service brake built into the hoist — normal braking during lifting/lowering
2. Two fall arrest devices (safety locks) — acting on independent safety wire ropes, auto-locking on tilt or fall (minimum 2)
3. Two upper limit switches — automatic stop at top to prevent overtravel
4. Emergency stop — one-press power cutoff
5. Controlled descent on power failure — the brake can be manually released with an integrated centrifugal force brake for a controlled slow descent, not a free fall

Three-phase power is easy to find in China, but many overseas sites only have single-phase 220V. Confirm the power supply when selecting:
Three-phase 400V 50/60Hz: standard, lifting speed approx. 9 m/min
Single-phase 220V: available as an option (capacitor-start or converter), designed for sites without three-phase power
High-speed version (e.g., 18 m/min): for high-rise projects on tight schedules
Faster is not always better — excessive speed on man-riding platforms is dangerous; 9 m/min is the industry-comfort mainstream. 18 m/min suits material-lifting scenarios.
The platform hangs from the roof — but roofs are all different. Choose the wrong suspension and the platform won’t even go up:
Roof suspension system: standard suspension beams for regular roofs
Suspension jib: adjustable overhang length, height, and width — fits parapets of different heights and complex roofs; the new rope-lock design doesn’t damage the rope; excess wire rope can be stored on the jib
Parapet clamps: clamp directly to parapets without embedded anchors or counterweights
